Zhang Xinpeng, male, Han ethnic group, from Changtu, Liaoning, member of CPC, Master Candidate, Master Supervisor, teaching fellow of Laboratory of Vocal Studies, Institute for Music Studies, baritone, member of the 9th Gansu All-China Youth Federation, member of China Chorus Association, member of Gansu Musicians’ Association.

1998-2002: Scholar of musical performance at school of Music, Northwest Minzu University.

2013: Master Candidate at school of Music, Northwest Minzu University.

Teaching at the School of Art of Lanzhou University since 2002.

2008: learnt vocal music, opera performance and chorus conductor at Central Conservatory of Music and China Conservatory of Music, after professor Zhao Dengying and professor Wu Lingfen.

2009: performances at Four Central Asian Countries -- Kyrghyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, given by LZU "Linking the Silk Road" Art Troupe, representing Office of Chinese Language Council International and Lanzhou University;

2011: leading singer in “Toward to the Sun”, a large-scale party for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, performed in Gansu province.

Awards:

2008: the first prize in the trials of Vocal China of the 39th Italy Bellini International Music Competition in Gansu and Ningxia Division;

The first prize in Bel Canto Class of the trials of the 7th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division;

2010: the first prize in Bel Canto Class of “CCTV National Young Singers’ Grand TV Prix” in Gansu Division.

2006: Ren Xiaofang won the honorable mention in Bel Canto Class of the 12th  Young Singers’ Grand TV Prix in Gansu Division.

2005: Zhao Yun won the third prize in Bel Canto Class of the 4th “Golden Bell Award” in Gansu Division.

2007: Guo Xiuqi won the first prize in Bel Canto Class of the final of “Youth China -- Gansu Youth Talent Competition”.

2009: Nie Zhenhua won the honorable mention in Bel Canto Class of the trials of the 7th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division.

2009: Qiu Yawei won the honorable mention in Bel Canto Class of the trials of the 7th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division.

2010: Qiu Tian won the second prize in Bel Canto Class of “Haizhou Cup” Campus Singing Competition.

2011: Ma Zhanming won the second prize in Vocal Youth Class of the 2nd “Emotional China” National Young Artistic Talents Competition in Gansu Division.

2011: Wei Xing won the second prize in Vocal Youth Class of the 2nd “Emotional China” National Young Artistic Talents Competition in Gansu Division.
