Qin Yuan, female, Han ethnic group, from Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province, member of CPC, Maser, Associate Professor, Master Supervisor, teaching fellow of Laboratory of Vocal Studies, Institute for Music Studies.

1998-2002: Scholar at Xi’an Conservatory of Music.

2008-2011: Master at School of Arts, Lanzhou University, after professor Xiang Liang.

2012: studied traditional vocal music and teaching research at China Conservatory of Music, after famous Chinese vocal music educationalist, professor Zhou Wenqin.

Teaching at the School of Art of Lanzhou University since 2002.

Research field: the Diversification Tendency of Chinese folk Vocal Music under Multicultural Background

Courses offered: Vocal music, creation and practice of modern stage comprehensive performing art, history of western music(general education elective course), research on vocal teaching method(compulsory course)

2005: Outstanding Teacher Award in Eastern Youth Art Star Gala in Gansu Division;

2005: the third prize of folk singing in the trials of the 5th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division;

2007: the third prize of folk singing in the trials of the 6th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division;

2007: gold award of folk singing in the trials of the 3rd China Art and Elegance International Exchange Competition; the first prize in the national trials;

2008: top 10 in Vocal Class of the 15th National Competition to Introduce Rookies in Gansu Division;

2013: the second prize of folk singing in the trials of the 9th China Golden Bell Award for Music in Gansu Division;

2013: gold award in Folk Music Class of the final of the 9th “Youth China” Gansu Youth Talent Competition;

2014: the first prize of folk singing in Youth Class of the 3rd Gansu Vocal Music Competition.

2007: He Yixin won the third prize of performance in “Gansu Opera Red Plum Blossom Award, Campus Opera Award”.

2008: Zhang Xiaomei won the second prize of Bel Canto in Youth Class A of the 4th China Art and Elegance International Exchange Competition in Gansu Division; the third prize in the national trials in August.

2009: Shi Lingyan won the honorable mention in the 5th Haizhou Cup Vocal Music Competition.

2009: Xiong Shan won the honorable mention in the 5th Haizhou Cup Vocal Music Competition.

2009: Zhang Zi won the honorable mention in the 5th Haizhou Cup Vocal Music Competition.

2009: Zhang Yaru won the second prize of Bel Canto in Youth Class A of the 5th China Art and Elegance International Exchange Competition in Gansu Division.

2010: Zhang Zi won the third prize in Vocal Music Class of the final of National Youth Show in Gansu Division.

2015: Yuan Haiyang, admitted in 2013, won the second prize in “Star of Silk Road -- My Stage Dream” the 1st Gansu Music and Dance Talent Competition.

2015: Zhang Chongfeng, admitted in 2014, won the third prize in “Star of Silk Road -- My Stage Dream” the 1st Gansu Music and Dance Talent Competition.

2015: Yang Changwu, admitted in 2014, won the honorable mention in “Star of Silk Road -- My Stage Dream” the 1st Gansu Music and Dance Talent Competition.
